It seemed my brother had understood from their talks that the problem was with me. An hour later they would tall my brother that he could go. He had asked: “What will happen to my brother?” they had told him: “He is guest of us for a long time. You can go.” Haj Mehdi had told them: “He is young and doesn’t understand. So, political activity was not an impediment for keeping these interests.I was teaching sports in several schools and had contacts with many teachers and students. It was necessary for me to keep Islamic behavior as a good Muslim believer. It was a kind of positive propaganda for Islam. In an atmosphere that sin, iniquity and corruption had occupied all the ranks of regime, my behavior was obviously observed. All the people around, particularly the unveiled ladies would react with other men in relax and easy going way, but when talking to me they would...

I would also participate in party classes just in the specified domain for me.After the primary meeting I entered party classes. My task in this level was participating in classes and learning party teachings. Other than that I had to find and introduce trusted and enthusiastic...

Ahmad Ahmad Memoirs (9)Edited by Mohsen KazemiSoureh Mehr Publishing Company(Original Text in Persian, 2000)Translated by Mohammad Karimi For some seconds it was calm. I went fast to that boy and lifted him. Some others also came to help me. I took his left arm and one his right hand and the other two took his legs and we moved him together. While we were passing across the street, the colonel ordered the soldiers to fire again. The one who was in front of me and was holding the boys leg was shot and fell down. The one who was in my right side was also shot in back and fell. The other two and I ran away. I took shelter behind the walls of the bank. I found my hands and clothes bloody. Loss of Memory in Pahlavi Prisons

In total, [I was in prison] about 6 years in two arrests. For the first time after several years, a soldier arranged my escape. I do not know why! Maybe he was one of the influential elements of Islamic groups. They took me to the hospital for the treatment of my hand, which was broken due to the callousness of an officer.

Hajj Pilgrimage

I went on a Hajj pilgrimage in the early 1340s (1960s). At that time, few people from the army, gendarmerie and police went on a pilgrimage to the holy Mashhad and holy shrines in Iraq. It happened very rarely. After all, there were faithful people in the Iranian army who were committed to obeying the Islamic halal and haram rules in any situation, and they used to pray.
