"Interview with history" hits Iranian bookshelves

"Interview with history", a book holding Oriana Fallacis interviews, has been released in Iran. The book is translated into Persian by Nasir Al-sadat Salami.
IBNA: In these interviews Oriana Fallaci one of the most well- known journalists of the last half of the twentieth century confronted a whole host of powerful figures, including Henry Kissinger, Indira Gandhi, Gaddafi, Arafat, Golda Meir, Deng Xiaoping. The book was published in 1976 and almost all of these leaders are no longer on the world - scene.
Gholamreza Imami has edited the Persian translation, penned an introduction to the book and has included a short biography of every figure at the beginning of every interview.
The book is translated from its Italian version into Persian.
Oriana Fallaci was an Italian journalist, author, and political interviewer. A former partisan during World War II, she had a long and successful journalistic career. Fallaci became famous worldwide for her coverage of war and revolution, and her interviews with many world leaders during the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.
She has authored books including "Letter to a Child Never Born", "If the Sun Dies", "Penelope at War", "A Man" and "The rage and the pride".
The Persian translation of "Interview with history" has been marketed in Iran in 408 pages.
