12th Iranian Oral History Conference to be held on 19 November 2019

Iranian Oral History Association messenger issued the announcement number 5 on the date and place of the 12th Iranian Oral History Conference.

According to the Iranian Oral History Site, the announcement was made of the latest approvals of the 12th Iranian Oral History Conference Council meeting held on 22 October 2019. Accordingly, this conference, titled "The Oral History of Industry, Engineering and Sacred Defense Support", will be held at the Saeb Hall of the Faculty of Literature and Humanities, University of Isfahan, 19 November 2019. Four conference sessions consist of five lectures and twelve articles as selected by the jury.

Those interested to participate in the conference are requested to apply through Iranian.oha@gmail.com by 2 November 2019. A certificate of participation will be issued by the end of the conference.

The 12th Iranian Oral History Conference on "Oral History of Industry, Engineering and Sacred Defense Support" is being organized by the Iranian Oral History Association, University of Isfahan and the Department of the Veterans of the Ministry of Agriculture. The topics of the conference are: 1. Support and Engineering of the Construction Jihad War 2. Administrative and Law Enforcement 3. Dispatching and logistics 4. Manufacturing, Innovations and Inventions 5. Documentation and Office Archives 6. Sacred Defense-Related Units in Offices 7. Other Related Topics.

According to the Iranian Oral History web site for the latest news related to the 12th Iranian Oral History Conference, the Department of History of the University of Isfahan is in charge of the academic content of the conference. Dr. Ali Akbar Kajbaf, a member of the Faculty of History of the University of Isfahan, has been selected as the Secretary of the 12th Iranian Oral History Conference, and Dr. Morteza Nouraei, the Academic Secretary, and Dr. Ali Akbar Jafari, the Executive Secretary of the 12th Iranian Oral History Conference.

A Pious Fighter

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the re-establishment of Qom Seminary, the Islamic Revolution Document Center has published a collection of books. One of them under the title "A Pious Fighter" is dedicated to the oral history of the life and struggles of Ayatollah Seyyed Hassan Mousavi Shali. This work, authored by Mohammad Kazem Ameli, describes the narrators life, education, religious, cultural and political activities in four chapters.
