►The Director General of the Guidance of East Azerbaijan, stating that the literature of resistance and sustainability owes its special attention to this field to the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, stated: If today a new school has been formed in the field of contemporary literature of Islamic Iran and the world under the title of literature of resistance and sustainability, it is due to the attitude and attention of a great personality who pays special attention to explaining oral history in the field of literature of the Holy Defense and the Resistance Front.

►The first oral history meeting "Yad"[memory] was held with the focus on the review and unveiling of the book "Kurdistan in the Process of the Islamic Revolution", along with speeches by university professors and reminiscences by pioneers of the Islamic Revolution in the gallery of Imam Khomeini (AS) in Isfahan.

►The Director of Literature and History of the Sacred Defense of the General Directorate for Preservation of Works and Publication of Sacred Defense Values ​​in Hamadan said: 100 books containing memoirs, narratives, oral histories, biographies, and manuscripts of Islamic warriors have been published in this province since last year.

►The unveiling ceremony of the book series "Oral History of the Lives of Nuclear Martyrs" was held on Monday, November 25, at the Islamic Revolution Documents Center.

►The Oral History of the Water and Wastewater Industry Project was unveiled at the same time as the Fifth Iranian Congress of Water and Wastewater Science and Engineering in Isfahan.

►The audio book "Oral History of the Sacred Defense Narrated by Hossein Alaei; Commander of Noah's Camp (AS)" has been prepared and made available to interested parties on the Iran Audio Book Database.

►The book "Softer than the Cry of Feathers" (dubbed oral history) written by Sadegh Vafaei has recently reached its third edition by Negah Publishing. The first edition of this book was published in 2020, and its second edition was released in October 2024.

►The scientific secretary of the Palestine World Literature Prize said in an interview with IBNA: Memories and oral history help us not to forget the facts. A large part of the memories in the first edition of the festival came to us from a group of Palestinians in prison who had written down their memories. This measure prevents the forgetting of events and also provides raw materials for storytellers.

►Oral history interviews with veterans from Nain County were conducted in the presence of the families of the martyrs and veterans of 25 to 49 percent at the Martyr and Veterans Affairs Foundation.

►A meeting of the Oral History and Interviewers Working Group of the Office for Preservation of Works and Propagation of Values ​​of Sacred Defense of Amol County was held on December 5, with the presence of members of this working group, in the building of the headquarters commemorating the "Islamic Epic of Bahman and the Forest" of this county.

►The book "Narrative of Happiness", a new work from the Oral History Collection of the National Archives and Library of Iran, was published. This work, compiled by Hadi Ghobadi, describes the life of Ayatollah Seyyed Hassan Saadat Mostafavi, a professor at the seminary and university, and recognizes his scientific, cultural, and social dimensions.

►The workshop “Basics of Oral History and Its Requirements in Documentary Film” was held on Tuesday, December 10, on the third day of the 18th International “Cinema Haghighat” Festival, with the participation of Goodarz Rashtiani.

►The closing ceremony of the first oral history workshop for IRGC ground forces fighters and the unveiling of the latest publications of IRGC ground forces martyrs on the topic of sustainable security, with the titles “Spies’ Den,” “Battle in the Media Region,” and “Steadfast,” was held on Wednesday, December 11, at the National Museum of the Islamic Revolution and Sacred Defense.

►The Friday prayer leader of Qazvin, expressing memories of the elders of Qazvin and their role in the revival of seminaries and the establishment of universities in the province, emphasized the importance of recording oral history documents on these topics and emphasized the transfer of these documents to the younger generation in the form of books and films.

Oral History of 40 Years

One of the main hypotheses regarding the reason for the growth and expansion of oral history in the modern era relates to the fact that oral history is the best tool for addressing lesser-known topics of contemporary history. Topics that, particularly because little information is available about them, have received less attention.
